True Education is About Results
When I was growing up, I thought that education is about the accumulation of knowledge and knowing a lot about so many things. As the day, months and years roll by in my life. I am beginning to notice something else.
Isn’t the ultimate purpose of education that we are able to be more productive citizens, create more values for society or the world as we also create value for ourselves?
If that’s true, doesn’t it make sense that education is also about teaching us to be able to get what we want, when we want it in the form that we want it without violating the right of others?
As I write this, I reading a huge book titled “Your Power to Be Rich”. It contains three classics by Napoleon Hill – Think and Grow Rich, The Magic Ladder to Success and the Master-key to Riches.
This morning I came across this statement from Hill inside The Magic Ladder to Success “An educated person is one who knows how to acquire everything needed in the attainment of his or her own main purpose in life without violating the rights of others”
I seem to agree with the above statement. Wishing you great education and let me know what you think.
