Call me sometime
That may sound like a cheesy line. And don’t worry because I may not cajole you to call me now. At least for today. Relax. But remember the magic in that notion of calling. When you do, you keep the relationship alive.
I am assuming that you have some friends of some sort, right? Good. Now, if you don’t keep oiling them with constant contact, then you may not get much out of them.
When you receive a call or any contact of some sort, you feel like the person who contacted you values you and of course by law of reciprocity, you will value them too. You want to be valued, right? Great.
To be valued, you have to value others first. And one of the quickest ways to do that is to be in constant contact with your friends and loved ones. It could be a phone call, an email, an sms, a small note or letter.
Whichever way works for you should be fine. It’s the thought not the form of communication that counts most.
Make a commitment to keep in touch with your friends on a regular basis. And by the way, if you are my friend, all I can say is “Call me some time”
